Reliance Jio has add a new app in their portfolio. Reliance Jio was testing the JioMeet app for few weeks and now Reliance Jio has launched the JioMeet App on Google Play Store and App Store both.

Where in pandemic, Video Calling platorms such as Google Meet, Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Team has seen exponential surge in the number of users, with them Reliance Jio wants to be in the same race.

Just with the launch, on 2nd July 2020, JioMeet has already gained more than 100k users only on Android.

Currently, JioMeet has been rated as high as 4.8 on App Store and 4.6 on Google Play Store.

JioMeet has features very similar to Google Meet and Zoom.
It allows more than 100 participants at the same time. It comes with WEBRTC support which allows web browsers and mobile applications with real-time communication via simple application programming interfaces.

Additionally, JioMeet appears to not impose a short time limit on a call’s duration. Jio says that free call can be uninterrupted for “up to 24 hours” long
